User guide

Hankøbåt has boats in Oslo, Hankø, and Gressvik near Fredrikstad. You do this before, during and after you have been at sea.

Boat moorings

Aker Brygge

Berth place D115. It is in the old dock between Aker Brygge and Tjuvholmen ( show in Google Maps ).

Gressvik

Ålekilen Marina, Gressvik ( show in Google Maps )

Hankø

Ramseklo Boat Association, Hankø, Brygge B plass 207 ( show in Google Maps )

Equipment on board

The equipment is located in the compartments under the seats

There are 2-3 vests for adults in the largest boats. Bring your own vests if you need.

1 paddle oar

Before you go

You will soon receive a separate email inviting you to the Master Lock Vault. It is the system we use for the boat's digital lock.
Follow the instructions and create a user and download the app on your phone.

When you get to the boat

1. Insert the drain plug

The plug is under the engine and hangs from a string.

2. Drain plug in place

Insert the plug and lock the plug so that it is in place.

3. Bilde av propell og finne

Ta bilde av alle bladene på propellen og finnen under. Send inn til Hankøbåt på info@hankøbåt.no eller telefonnummer +47 932 99 454.

3. Press the lock

The lock is on the seat behind. First press the lock. It should then light up.

4. Unlock the boat on the mobile

Open Master Lock Vault on your mobile. Select the boat you want to unlock, e.g. "Ålekilen 460 Red", and press "Unlock".

Pull the latch and remove it. Keep the lock dry. Avoid getting salt water on the lock.

Show consideration for others.
Remember speed limits and the obligation to give way for everyone from the right.

Fill up the petrol tank on the way back (95 octane petrol). The nearest places to fill up with gas are:
- Aker Brygge: Kongen marina ( view in Google maps ) or Fjordkiosken on Lindøya ( view in Google maps ).
- Hankø: Hankø marina ( show in Google maps ) and Joker Vikane ( show in Google maps ). Both are located in Hankøsundet.
- Gressvik: Marnet marine park in the direction of Hankø ( show in Google maps ), and Fjeldberg marina in the direction of Fredrikstad ( show in Google maps ).
If the boat is delivered without a full tank, you must pay a fee of NOK 750. Use Vipps to Hankøbåt #709139, or contact us.

Back in port

1. Moor the boat

Flip out fenders if the boat has one.

2. Tilt up the engine

Press "UP" on the side of the throttle. It raises the engine.

3. Vests

Put the vests back in the compartments under the seats.

4. Return keys

Put keys back in the room next to the gas tank.

5. Take a picture of the tank

Take a picture of the tank gauge on the gas tank. The air valve on the lid must always be open.
